Mehak gently challenges the perception of what UK diners consider to be a ‘typical’ Indian restaurant experience. While one section of the menu turns the spotlight on a selection of familiar favourites such as Prawn Bhuna, Chicken Korma and Lamb Vindaloo, the Mehak interpretation of these classic dishes bring a vibrant update on the theme to the table. For the more adventurous diner, starters such as Rabbit Varuval (a South Indian speciality) or Tandoori Samosa, main courses including Kingfish Curry and Tawa Ki Lamb and a dessert of chocolate soufflé served with chilli custard result in a truly memorable Indian food odyssey. All sauces are freshly made to order, ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible and vegetarians are exceptionally well catered for.
